What is Hapé?

Hapé is a traditional Amazonian plant-based medicine, prepared as a fine ceremonial snuff and traditionally used by Indigenous cultures for grounding, clarity and spiritual alignment.

In this space, Hapé is approached as a relational and embodied medicine — not something to consume for an effect, but something to meet with presence, intention and care.

The ceremony is not about intensity, visions or altered states.

It is about returning to the body.

Returning to the breath.

Returning to the moment.

Hapé supports a soft yet profound recalibration of the nervous system and subtle body, allowing what is already present inside you to come back into coherence.

Here, Hapé is held as a quiet ally for:

    •    grounding the mind into the body

    •    releasing accumulated energetic and emotional tension

    •    restoring clarity and inner alignment

    •    deepening connection with Earth and your own inner landscape

The focus is not force.

The focus is attunement — to your body, to your breath, and to what becomes available when your system feels safe enough to settle.

Purpose & Benefits

Hapé may support:

    •    grounding and stabilisation of the nervous system

    •    emotional regulation and inner centring

    •    clearing of mental and energetic stagnation

    •    increased presence and embodied awareness

    •    subtle energetic realignment before or after deeper ceremonial work

Rather than creating an experience, Hapé gently supports the body’s natural capacity to return to balance.

How Hapé Is Used in Ceremony

Hapé is offered in a slow, guided and respectful ceremonial setting.

The process includes:

    •    clear intention setting

    •    grounding and breath awareness

    •    a short preparation to support nervous system regulation

    •    gentle ceremonial application

    •    quiet integration time after the serving

The ceremony is held with presence, consent and attunement to each participant’s capacity and readiness.

There is no expectation to push through discomfort or intensity.

What You May Experience

Experiences vary from person to person.

You may notice:

    •    a brief physical sensation in the nasal passages

    •    emotional softening or release

    •    deep grounding into the body and pelvis

    •    mental quietness and clarity

    •    a sense of energetic settling or re-centering

The effects are usually subtle and embodied rather than visual or visionary.

To support a grounded and gentle experience:

    •    avoid heavy meals for at least 1–2 hours beforehand

    •    avoid alcohol or other substances on the day of the ceremony

    •    come with a simple intention rather than an expectation

You will be guided through the full process step by step during the ceremony.

    •    All participation is optional and consent-based

Respect & Cultural Lineage

Hapé originates from Indigenous Amazonian traditions and is approached in this space with deep respect for its cultural roots and ceremonial lineage.

This work honours the living traditions from which this medicine comes, without claiming to replicate or replace Indigenous practices.

The focus of this offering is respectful, embodied and trauma-informed facilitation within a contemporary ceremonial context.

Hapé in Combined Ceremonies

(Reiki · Sound & Frequency · Energy Healing · Vocal Activation · Breath)

Hapé can be offered as part of blended ceremonial spaces alongside:

    •    Sacred Earth ceremonies

    •    Cacao ceremonies

    •    sound and vibration work

    •    breath, movement and embodied awareness practices

    •    Reiki and subtle energy work

    •    vocal activation and intuitive toning

In combined ceremonies, Hapé is usually offered as a grounding and centring anchor to support deeper presence and integration.

How the blended container supports the experience?

When Hapé is combined with Reiki, sound, breath and vocal activation, the intention is not to create a stronger or more dramatic state.

The intention is to create a coherent, regulated and resourced field in which the body can respond naturally.

This blended approach may support:

    •    deeper nervous-system regulation before and after the serving

    •    smoother integration of subtle energetic shifts

    •    increased capacity to stay present with sensation and emotion

    •    soft opening of perception without dissociation or overwhelm

    •    a greater sense of safety, containment and inner support

Reiki and subtle energy work are used to support grounding, energetic coherence and gentle rebalancing.

Sound and vocal activation are used to support:

    •    settling of the mind

    •    regulation of emotional tone

    •    gentle stimulation of the vagal and respiratory system

    •    embodied presence rather than catharsis

Breath is used as an orienting and stabilising tool, not as an activating or forcing technique.

Why these modalities are combined with Hapé?

Hapé works primarily through grounding, centring and subtle energetic alignment.

Reiki, sound, voice and breath are added to:

    •    support the body’s capacity to receive and integrate

    •    soften protective holding patterns

    •    help the nervous system remain within a safe and regulated window

    •    support the transition from mental activity into embodied awareness

Rather than working on different “layers”, the blended container supports the whole system at once:

body, breath, emotion, attention and subtle perception.

What makes this blended approach different?

Each modality is introduced slowly and only when it feels supportive for the group or individual.

The ceremony is continuously guided through:

    •    observation of body signals

    •    pacing and pauses

    •    choice and consent

    •    verbal and non-verbal regulation cues

At any moment, sound, voice, breath or energy work may be reduced, simplified or paused entirely if the system needs more stillness.

Less is often more.

Important note about blended ceremonies

Not all modalities are used in every ceremony.

Each container is created intentionally and responsively, based on:

    •    readiness

    •    nervous-system capacity

    •    group or individual needs

    •    the overall intention of the ceremony

The guiding principle is always: safety first, presence first, attunement first.

Integration After the Ceremony

After Hapé, it is recommended to:

    •    remain in gentle awareness for a short time

    •    drink water and rest the body

    •    avoid rushing into external stimulation

    •    allow emotions or insights to settle naturally

Integration is not something you need to do.

It is something your body already knows how to complete when given space.
